6400 camera drivers for 6.3.2

Hello all,

Is there any chance to upgrade to camera driver pack for a vsms running under version 6.3.2 so we can introduce the 6400 camera?

We know that this camera is supported at 6.3.2 MR3 but we would like to avoid upgrading the VSMS as a whole.

Any ideas?

Thank you

I would, yes.  I actually just finished making the rounds on the whole product line of Cisco IPVS cameras and gathering a few new minor firmware upgrades from the Cisco site.

Always grab the release notes for each new version, and file them away.  Review them prior to upgrading your endpoints too.

Cheers, and best of luck!

Unfortunately, I don't *think* there is.  At least I'm not aware of any.  Wish I had better news.

Perhaps someone else has managed it?

Also, if you *do* end up upgrading, there is a VSM 6.3.3 build which I'd recommend as opposed to 6.3.2 MR3.

Cheers!

Hello Scott,

Thanks for replying (even though i must admit i was expecting your reply earlier ;-) ).

We have actually upgraded the VSMS/VSOM to 6.3.2 MR3. As per your feedback, is this release kind of buggy?!

Our next upgrade is targeted for version: >7.x

Thanks

I'd rather not comment on the buggy-ness of any of the versions ;-)  However, 6.3.2MR3 is what we run for a majority of our clients that haven't moved to 7 yet.  The only reason they are at 6.3.2MR3 and not 6.3.3 is because for the longest time, 6.3.2MR3 was the most recent version, and the indicated version for migration to 7.  As an interim step, most were upgraded to this version prior to the release of 6.3.3.

If I had any clients remaining at an earlier version of 6.3.X that wasn't an interim version for migration, and I had to upgrade them, I would take them straight to 6.3.3 now that it's available.

Cheers,

Scott.
