C240 with 4 NICs

I have 2 CPS-UCS-2RU-K9 boxes. THey have 4 NICs in them and I'm having trouble finding the documentation about the 4 NICs. I can only see two of them inside VSOM so I don't know if two are just unsed or if they are teamed or failover by default. Does anyone know how they are setup default? I'd like to have NIC1 be used for accessing the VSOM server and the NIC2 be on a camera VLAN. Is that possible? Thanks for any input.

This is a bare-metal VSM7 installation on a UCS chassis, correct?

I don't believe it will be possible to multi-home your server in the way you've described, especially if VSOM and VSMS are co-located on the same chassis.  Both components of the solution definitely need to talk to the camera endpoints.

You *may* be able to turn up an adapter on a separate VLAN/Subnet and get the underlying VSM daemons to bind to it's address/ports as well, but I'm unsure of any unexpected consequences, and I doubt it would be supported by Cisco. Also, I don't believe any of the adapters are bonded, and I don't have a UCS chassis in my lab to check myself.

I'm curious as to what you discover.   Cheers!
