Credential template settings for a Rosslare keypad

Hi everyone,

I'm having problems with the credential settings for a Rosslare keypad (only PIN, no badge). I only get "Reader decode failed"

The Rosslare keypad AYC-G54 has multiple set-ups. The one I was using is called "Single key, 6 bit Wiegand". Each key press immediately sends 4 bits with 2 parity bits added. Even parity for the first 3 bits, odd parity for the last 3 bits.

For example: 1= 0 0001 0, 2= 0 0010 0, 3= 0 0011 1,... I connected the keypad to a microcontroller to check the output and everything works fine.

I made a new credential template into CPAM, only keypad, and configured this as a 6 bit data were the data starts from bit 1 and will be 4 bits long. I'm not using bit zero and the last bit. Don't think that's necessary.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong but after many hours of testing and changing the result is still negative.
Does anyone has more experience with those credential settings?

Thanks in advance,

Regards, Nico
