Yes, this options is removed from this VSM 7.11 and this feature is under renovation and will goes as a part of 7.12 release.
There is no workaround is available as both UI and API option is disabled. As of now the tentative date for VSM 7.12 is July 2018.
If you wish to get this thing done urgently, please raise a new TAC Service Request case, i will follow-up closely with BU development team then.
