Modify VSOM IP address!

hello,all:

     I encounter this question:I hava one MSP-2RU Server.After initial setup wizard with IP address configed as 10.10.10.1 and media server,operations manager(7.0) located in one server. But the custom require to modify IP to 192.168.10.X. I didn't find out the way after read some documents.I'll appreciate your help!

You can try do this on server with yast ( if you use suse).

There are two options to change the IP address of an existing server.

1) Download the recovery software, do a factory, and start fresh. This method is destructive.

2) Remove the media server from the VSOM, stop services, do system-config-network-tui command and modify the IP address, start services. If necessary do a reboot so the interface starts using the new IP. Add the media server to the VSOM again. This method gives you the option of retaining video and settings.

I have not done option 2 on a co-located VSOM/VSMS however. In that scenario you might need to update the IP address on the VSMC page as well.
