Greetings Cisco community,
I was hoping if someone could provide with some examples of security issues which pertain to the physical layer of the OSI model.
I am aware of Switch flooding, where an attacker can overflow the switch's address table with fake MAC addresses and make the switch act like a hub, sending packets to all devices. I am also aware of switch port security, which remembers the Ethernet MAC address connected to the switch port and allows only that MAC address to communicate on that port.
Are there any other security vulnerabilities pertaining to the physical layer that I should be aware of?
