I'm very new in this topic, and i would like to implement a lab deployment of Cisco Video Surveillance. I can buy some ip cameras, but i need to reduce cost as much as posible, so the first question is what servers i need to make a basic implementation (VSOM and VSMS are both enough? and both necesary?)
The second question: is there a demo version of VSOM and VSMS and if i can install that software in a non-cisco server (appliance), for example in a vmware virtual machine.
