I have a Cisco 887VA-W at home, I am using Zone firewall to allow traffic between the inside and outside zone.
Initially when I setup the router I found out that the router was required to allow UDP port 1725 through the router to join games properly, this gave me NAT type moderate, but the game was still playable. Today I fired up the game and I got NAT type strict. I have tried allowing a a variety of TCP and UDP ports but it is still having no effect.
Does anyone have a similar setup and have the NAT type open?
I know it's probably a long shot, but I quite like having my home router as an 887
