SG200-08: no SNMP agent?

Hi there,

I just bought a SG200-08 for my home network. I mainly bought it for the port channel/LACP and VLAN features. However, I'd also like to toy with SNMP. Both the data sheet and model comparison page mention that the SG200-08 supports SNMP, but in reality that doesn't seem to be the case. So now I'm wondering whether I'm overlooking something obvious, or perhaps the documentation is incorrect.

From the "Cisco 200 Series Smart Switches" datasheet document (located at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/switches/ps5718/ps11229/data_sheet_c78-634369.html) states that SNMP is supported:

It doesn't mention any specific models in this part, so according to this all switches in the SG200 series should support SNMP.

Looking at the VLAN support in the same document, it does make an exception for the SG200-08:

The model comparison page also states that SNMP is supported on the SG200-08:

Is there really no SNMP support in the SG200-08? If not, the documentation should be corrected. While SNMP is not a must-have feature for me, I did want to play with it and am unhappy now that I can't.

I still find the SG200-08 a very nice switch for the price though, though I'm not really complaining.
