Nexus IGMP Querier Election

Hi,

This is the topology of my network:

  BlueCoat1---N2K---2*N5K(vPC)---2*C6880(VSS)---Inter Datacenter Links---2*C6880(VSS)---2*N5K(vPC)---N2K---BlueCoat2

There is no Vlan interface on the switches. The Vlan is only trunked through.
I would like to use IGMP-Snooping-Queriers and avoid disabling IGMP-Snooping.

As far I understood, I have to configure the same IGMP statements on both vPC members.
Therefore:

- First 2*N5K with vPC:

 N5K-1  VLAN 100: IGMP Querier = 10.10.100.4
 N5K-1  VLAN 200: IGMP Querier = 10.10.200.4

 N5K-2  VLAN 100: IGMP Querier = 10.10.100.4
 N5K-2  VLAN 200: IGMP Querier = 10.10.200.4

- Second 2*N5K with vPC:

 N5K-3  VLAN 100: IGMP Querier = 10.10.100.4
 N5K-3  VLAN 200: IGMP Querier = 10.10.200.4

 N5K-4  VLAN 100: IGMP Querier = 10.10.100.4
 N5K-4  VLAN 200: IGMP Querier = 10.10.200.4

And here are my questions:

- Should an IGMP Querier be configured on both vPC-Clusters, First and Second 2*N5K?

- In the same VLAN, is it allowed to use the same IP address on all 4 N5K?

. How does the IGMP querier election work in my case?

. Should I configure the same IP on the First 2*N5K and a different IP address on the Second 2*N5K?

. Should I use 4 different addresses, one for each N5K, in the same VLAN?

Any help will be really appreciated.

Many thanks
