2611 async for console switch

Dear All

i would like to use 2611 and 16 console port work as console switch.

but it seems like the config may be different from 2511... what can i do

there is a line call line 33 48 in 2611,

but i use line 1 16 in 2511..

the following is the config of 2511

line con 0

line 1 16

exec-timeout 0 0

no exec

transport input telnet

Don t worry about the difference the the terminal line numbers between the two routers. You still have 16 terminal lines starting with TTY33 all the way thru to 48. The 2500 has fixed ports. While the 2611 is using a modular 16 port NM & the port count started at 33 as opposed to 1. So configure 'Line 33 48' the same as 'line 1 16'

any do the know which port no. should i start, in 2511 the ip host xxx 2001 x.x.x.x,

in 2611, the ip host yyy 2001 y.y.y.y not ok.
