7200 Redundant Configuration ATM/PRI

Hi,

I have a question regarding the possibilities of a redundant Router config.

At the moment we have a 7206VXR wit a 155 Mbit ATM Link, a PRI and the Gigaethernet.

We would make redundant this machine..

My question: What is the best practice to do this?

I thought to make the following:

An identical 7200 Router.

For the switchover of ATM I can use the APS feature.

For the PRI I use the same number on both PRI and use Multichassis Multilink PPP between the two Routers.

On the LAN (GigEth) HSRP or VRRP.

Can this work? Have anyone a better idea or suggestions?

Thanks,

Thomas

Hi

Can you revert back on which interface you are terminating the ATM Link ??

AFAIK and from my personal exp APS works well with the POS interfaces..
