I'm having high cpu load on two access servers used to do remote console sessions to other routers. Everything it's up and running fine. Problem is that some of the lines are connected to redundant supervisor modules on Catalyst 6500's and redundant RSP's on 7500 routers. These lines are connecting and disconnecting continuosly like they are polling or something. This is causing a high cpu load on the access server, mainly with the exec process. How can I stop this behaviour? or it's something I should get used and live with it?
A clear line do close the lines, but they come back again in a few seconds.
