Hi,
I have a AS5350 with an ISDN PRI for dial in users. It works at the moment, PPP and CHAP authenticating from an Interlink Radius server.
Question.
My boss wants me to configure dial-out for administrators here. Say for example somebody needs to dial into a service somewhere like a bulletin board,he wants me to set the as5350 up so that it's a bank of modems for dial out that an admin can use. All this while dial in users are still working.
I'm a little unsure where to start as this doesn't seem like DDR....
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

There are 2 ways you can dial out from the router.
Using a DialOut Utility
Using DDR

I think I know what your boss is referring to. There is a utility that is installed onto the desktop and a server, called CiscoDial out or something like that. You access the Icon and it creates a virtual Com port and you can "dial out" from your PC. It has been several years since I have used this, but this may be what you are looking for.

Thanks for your help guys. I wanted to find a solution that didn't involve us purchasing additional
software.
I'm going to read up on DDR and see if it's possible.
Thanks again.
