I have a problem. I would like to assign static ip address via DHCP.
What I am trying to do that is working:
1. Config a static ip in switch to lookup PC mac-address.
2. The pc is set to DHCP
3. The pc is connected to the switch
4. The switch identifies the mac-address
5. Assigns the configured ip address DHCP to the assigned mac-address.
My problem is:
The switch is assigning ip address to pc automatically.
I do not what the switch to assign ip if the ip address has not been assign a mac address.
My question: How do I configure the switch to prevent DHCP from assigning ip address if the mac address has not been pre-configured with an assigned ip address?
