c837 downloading something when connected to ISP

Hi,

I would like to know what actually happen when a c837 get connected to the ADSL ISP.

I do a "debug atm event" before I plug the ADSL phone line into my c837.

Once I plug in, I saw the c837 get "train" to the DSLAM. In the middle, my c837 download "something" from the DSLAM. After that the connection comes up.

I would like to know what is my c837 downloading??

Thanks.

Hi,

Thanks for the response...I've check thru' the URL..But nothing really explain what is that "download"..

Below is my "debug atm event". You can see the c837 is downloading the .bin file "asw_r2_5_8.bin".

1. What is this file for?

2. Where is it downloading from?
