calltracker

I have tried to implement Calltracker on my As5300 and have it send massages to a syslog server. Unfortunately I have had no success. Here are the commands that I used.

Enable calltracker

Calltracker history max-size 40

Calltracker call-record verbose quiet

Is there anything I’m missing??? My syslog server is not picking anything up and I have it configured right on the As5300.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Re: calltracker

Hello,

make sure your entire config (including the s server config) looks like this:

calltracker enable

calltracker history max-size number

calltracker history retain-mins minutes

calltracker call-record verbose quiet

snmp-server packetsize byte-count

snmp-server queue-length length

snmp-server enable traps calltracker

snmp-server host host community-string calltracker

Re: calltracker

Nethelper,

I put all these commands in but I have a concern. If I want to log these messages to a Syslog server(say like Kiwi)which is not a snmp server do I still need the snmp-server statements in the As5330 config?

Thank for your help

Eric
