can not access an application server in a section of LAN

we have a LAN where in two section of this organisation are connected however one application server is not accessible in this other section,

what all needs to be checked as rest all other network component are acessible in this section and application server itself is functional and accessible inall other sections.

Hi Pallavi,

The two secitons has different Vlan/Subnet configurations?  If so, make sure routing is working properly. Do you have any firewalls in between or Access control lists applied to resrict the traffic?  Also, make sure the application server local firewall is not blocking anything and has correct IP settings.
