Check Caller-Id Number using Async Lines (Screening)

Hi All,

we are using a Cisco 3725 with 16 Digital Modems and 8-BRI Network Module.

We would like to know if it is possible to control the location the user is using to call (allow only specific Numbers) using Asyncronous Lines (56K Modems) and how?

If it was ISDN Dial, then we could use isdn caller <no>, but what we could use for Async?

Re: Check Caller-Id Number using Async Lines (Screening)

Hi,

If you need to restrict access per telephone number, you will need ACS, and you can do that by configuring either per user or per group Define CLI/DNIS-based access restrictions. enter the telephone number at CLI and * for port and DNIS.

i hope this is helpful!

please rate if it does!
