Cisco 2620 router has peoblem with NM-16AM module

sirs,

i have cisco 2620 router and there is no any configuration on it, o installed the NM-16AM v2 Module inside it , and when i boot it and type the show run command i can't find the Async Interface , by the way i find the line 33 48 which is the line interfaces for the modems.

any one can help.

Hi

The best way to find out whether your IOS has detected the module is to use show version command under which you can see the card type on the modules installed on the box.

Also you can make use of show diag command to verify the same.

The line interfaces you are seeing are pointing that you card is already detected and ready to get on with the configuration...
