Hi All,
I'm working in a new project to configure a cisco 2821 with a VWIC2-2MFT-E1 interface card to work as a RAS server (Dial Backup). I will not use this card for voice purposes justo for data transmission.
I'm searching for a document like "how to" to configure this equipment, and I don't know if I have all necessary hardware to do this.
My IOS: c2800nm-ipvoicek9-mz.124-13a.bin

Hi, with the vwic card you can only use isdn pri signaling for voice connections, not for data. You can see it at the cco:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps274/products_tech_note09186a00800b6e0f.shtml
So for your purposes you'll need another equipment like a network module NM-1CE1T1-PRI
Regards
Hope this helps, if so pls rate post

Actually, now you should be able to do data/DDR on VWICs as well, thanks to this new 12.4 feature :
Thanks and Regards,

Thanks all for the help,
In fact, I will use 2 E1's for this projetct from Telefonica.
I will verify all these information with my Cisco Partner here in Brazil.
