Hello,

I would like to know if there's a possibility to config. a Cisco 827 router in pptp-to-pppoa relay (similar to Alcatel speedtouch modem) cause I would like to use a linux server that do nat/firewall and initiate the ppp session to my adsl provider (that support only pppoa NOT pppoe..). Simple my linux box initiate a ppp session using pptp client to router than the router assign the dynamic internet ip address to linux box.

Best Regards,

F. Martin

We can configure PPTP in the 827 router . For more information regarding the capabilities of the 827 router follow the link ,

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps380/products_data_sheet09186a0080092162.html

Thank You for response,

I know 827 series routers support pptp, but on Cisco website i don't find any paper regarding pptp-to-pppoa relay and i don't know very well how can i write a config for this to work.

Can You help me with some tips?

Best Regards,

Federico Martin
