Cisco 871 with Modem which doesn't need AT command

I am connecting cisco 871 router to a modem using console port. the modem requires no AT command to bring up it's attention. it request the router to start PPP authentication command directly without dial progress. can cisco router 871 do what it is requested? can i do it using dial-script?

Re: Cisco 871 with Modem which doesn't need AT command

Using SLIP or PPP encapsulation over asynchronous lines is an inexpensive way of connecting PCs to a network. SLIP and PPP over asynchronous dial-up modems allow a home computer to be connected to a network without the cost of a leased line.Refe URL
