Cisco rtr AUX <--> USR modem: where am I doing mistake

Hi All,

Trying to configure a USR 56K modem to 2801 AUX port.

rtr:

line aux 0

session-timeout 20

login local

modem InOut

modem autoconfigure type usr_courier

transport input all

speed 115200

flowcontrol hardware

--> Modem initialised using rtr Lo0 ip

telnet 10.250.222.10 2001

at

OK

at&F1S0=1

OK

at&w

OK

--> here I am unable disconnect reverse telnet session using ctrl+shift+6+x. So I rebooted all and tried to connect to phone line, no response from modem when dialing. LEDS AA/DTR/MR/RTS/CTS are lit.

only DIP switches 3&8 are DOWN.

While connected to phone line, I ran at commands successfully, but still unable to dial. The phone line is working (as it is a fax connected line and I tested it)..:-)

I don't think its issue with modem, as I tried with another modem also and got the same results.

Any suggestions..?

Thank you

MS

Nevermind. Something going on with original phone line. Tried with another phone line (which is already connected to Modem) and works fine. Thank you for reading the post.

Thanks
