Clientless SSL not able to browse https

Hi Community,

I am using ASA5505 with Ver 9.2.2.4

The ASA is set up perfect for all my needs including Anyconnect, CA, Firewalling etc.

The Anyconnect client works fine. I wanted to get started with the clientless VPN feature and try to browse sites.

This works fine for most http sites but not for https at all. (http://www.google.de redirects to https://www.google.de and therefore also does not work)

I dont want to get deep into configuration but just the simple question if this should be possible with clientless VPN (anyconnect works fine and I am using the same connection and group policy for both clinet and clientless) or not.

And, if someone has a clue which line of config I have to add to my configuration - please help.  Thanks!

Regards

Stefan

Do you have a valid public Certificate installed and configured on the ASA?

hi Richard,

no I am not using a valid public Certificate. The longer I am thinking about your question the more I am convinced that this must be the Point. The ASA establishes a Connection between the https Website and itself.. So this must be why it is not working. Thanks for this quick and useful response!
