CMTS:TFTP Relay

wants to pass TFTP port 69 over our network and it is not working, DHCP relay works finewe have a CMTS server that sits at remote end which needs to load it's configuration from a TFTP server that sits behind the Upstream router, at the same time DHCP, DHCP works but TFTP does not, I have configured on the Upstream router ip helper address, which is required but it still does not work.

any help would be appreciated

Re: CMTS:TFTP Relay

As you do not give much info, here are a few points to check:

1: The ip helper must be configured on the interface where the tftp request is received.

2: It has to be the address of the tftp server.

3: You should verify ip connectivity between host and server.

4: Check the event log of the tftp server. Can you see anything there?

regards,

Leo
