When i dialup to one of my router through the auxiliary port i am faced with a perculiar problem.
I get connect at 9600 baud but I dont get login prompt.
can any let me what could be problem.

If the router does not have an enable secret password, incoming connections will not be able to enter the enable mode. To allow incoming calls to enter enable mode, use the enable secret password command to setup the enable secret password.

Hi
if the router config is ok, I can suggest to check the cabling and adaptors...
I experienced the same problems connecting a modem with db9 female rs232.
To solve I had to use a null modem cable with on one side
- db9 male to db9 modem rs232 famale
and on the other
- db25 female to db25 male of the Cisco modem adaptor
But we have to be sure the router config is ok...
