DSLAM to ADSL modem connectivity

Hi,

I have customer requirement like this. Customer wanted DSLAM in head office, users from remote locations connect to HO using ADSL modems.

This is the first time I am handling DSLAM connectivity.

1) What will be the DSLAM ports confiuguration connecting to DSLAM modem and modem wan side configuration.

2) Does DSLAM verifies remote username&password

3) Does DSLAM provides IP address and etc to ADSL modems.

Setup is like this:

ASA 5510------------ DSLAM ----------------- ADSL ( from 48 remote locations)
