E1 not working

when i do a 'show isdn status' i get state as TE_1 ASSIGNED or AWAITING_ESTABLISHMENT ,when i do a show int s0/3/1.15 serial is up,line protocol down,what could be the problem?The telco guys say everything is ok on their end though i dont trust them.Thanks

Could you please provide more information:

1)What kind of hardware are you using - routers and models?

2)How do you configure your E1?

3)What purpose of your E1 link - voice or data?

of course thea are some relevant dial peers which i have omitted...How did u resolve your problem ?

Sory, but I'm afraid that I can't suggest you anything about E1 PRI for voice. I had a problem with ISDN PRI for data.

In any case, if you want to get help, you should post the some outputs: sh controller e1, sh int ser 0/3/1:15; debug isdn q921/q931.

(You also forgot to indicate the card description)

See if layer 2 is not coming up its usually a telco issue ..
