How to connect Site to Site VPN between CISCO RV320 router and Fortigate 80E Firewall

Hello All,

We have a CISCO RV320 router in US and a Fortigate 80E firewall in INDIA.

We need to establish a Site to Site VPN connection between them. Please help me to sort out.

Currently Site to Site VPN is configured with the Sonicwall TZ210. As the Sonicwall TZ210 is end of life and support, we have purchased a new firewall device. Also the CISCO device is recently purchased one.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Pradeep.

Hello,

the RV320 does not have a full IOS command line interface, so you have to use the web based user interface. What you need to do is set up a gateway to gateway VPN (page 82 of the attached user guide):

http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/routers/csbr/rv320/administration/guide/en/rv32x_ag_en.pdf

On the Fortigate, use the same gateway to gateway setup (page 63 of the attached user guide):

http://docs.fortinet.com/uploaded/files/1086/fortigate-ipsec-vpn-50.pdf

Both use IPSec standard settings, so you should be able to get this to work. For reference, I found the link below:

Hi Georg Pauwen,

Thanks for your support. I have configured the IPSec tunnel VPN now.

It went without any issues.

Referred the docs as you mentioned.

Again thanks for your support.

Good stuff, glad you got it sorted out !
