Re: IOS supporting SSH

Hi,

Both those releases support SSHv2.

What problems are you experiencing ?

Re: IOS supporting SSH

Been a while since I have played with SSH... but if I remember correctly first I have to use the Crypto command to set up a key...

well "crypto" apparently does not exist in the command list. Unless I am just looking in the wrong place. (global config)

Re: IOS supporting SSH

Re: IOS supporting SSH

Well yes, Crypto key gen rsa would be lovely...... If "Crypto" was in the command list in conf t

It is not which is why I was wondering if the Versions of IOS I listed above supported

Re: IOS supporting SSH

Could you post the output of 'sh ver' ? YOu seem to have the right version but the wrong feature set.

Re: IOS supporting SSH

I think that Paresh is quite right. Support for SSH is feature set dependent (requires an image with encryption support for DES/3DES) as well as being version dependent.
