ISDN ISSUE

Hi All,

I am facing a strange error when dialing from my router to a PE router at an ISP.

When i am riggering a call it is getting disconnected after 11 secs.

Please find the isdn debug log below.

*Nov 19 22:12:41.736: ISDN BR0/0/0 **ERROR**: host_disconnect_ack: Unfound B-channel on Disconnect_Ack call id 0x8191

After getting this error isdn status also turned deactivated...

Please suggest...

Can you paste the config of the bri and dialer if any ..which router you are using and what is the image in it..

If layer 2 is deactivated meaning if it does not say MULTIPLE FRAME ESTABLISHED when doing a show isdn status command, then that could mean your ISP changed their setting on their ISDN switch. You can try to do a debug isdn q921 and shut, no shut the BRI interface and see what the output displays in the debug.

If bouncing the interface does not fix the issue..its time to pick up the phone and give your ISDN provider a call.

that depends..there are certain providers in some countries in which you will not see multi frame established but ISDN is working fine
