ISDN redirecting IE problem

Is there any way to get IOS to ignore the ISDN redirection number? I'm using a HDV-E1 on a 3600 and the phone switch its connected to is sending junk in the redirection IE and there seems no way to disable this.

Because dial-plan's use the redirecting number in place of the Called number when present, this is causing the call to fail.

Here is an Q931 debug: (calling number replaced by x's)

Nov 16 17:58:55.226: ISDN Se1/0:15: RX <- SETUP pd = 8 callref = 0x001F

Nov 16 17:58:55.226: Sending Complete

Nov 16 17:58:55.234: Low Layer Compat i = 0x8090A3

Nov 16 17:58:55.234: IE out of order or end of 'private' IEs --

Redirecting Number i = 0x0080, '370'

Nov 16 17:58:55.238: ISDN Se1/0:15: TX -> RELEASE_COMP pd = 8 callref = 0x801F

Nov 16 17:58:55.242: Cause i = 0x80E470 - Invalid information element contents

Many thanks,

Nick

Hello Nick,

not sure if this applies in your case, but there is a command:

no isdn outgoing ie redirecting-number

Check the command reference as well:

isdn outgoing ie redirecting-number
