L2TP over IPSEC query

Greetings,

Currently I have around 50 users behind an ASA 5510. These users wants to connect to a remote PIX 501 using Cisco VPN client. But this is not working as no more than one Cisco VPN client is not supported on NAT/PAT.

PPTP VPN is another option, but I think its not much secure.

I am thinking of using L2TP over IPSEC. But not sure if it works on PAT. And if more than one users can create vpn connections over a single IP.

Any suggestions.....

The primary benefit of configuring L2TP with IPsec in a remote access scenario is that remote users can access a VPN over a public IP network without a gateway or a dedicated line, enabling remote access from virtually anyplace with POTS. An additional benefit is that the only client requirement for VPN access is the use of Windows 2000 with Microsoft Dial-Up Networking (DUN). No additional client software, such as Cisco VPN client software, is required.

What actually i'm talking is

- Will L2TP IPSEC VPN work behind NAT?

- Also, will multiple L2TP IPSEC VPN users behind single IP address be able to connect to the server (which is PIX 501 in this case) simulateously?
