Hi,

what is the best way to administer the 2821 routers remotely from home?

if via VPN what will be the configuration? or can it be done via SDM?

Hi

If you are concerned about the management part then better to configure SSH in your router so that you can secure the access to your router or else if you are accessing the router from a static ip then better permit the ip alone to access the telnet port...

VPN is also a better option when compared to SSH or securing your telnet access...
