I have an 871 router and I want to be able to ssh into the router from the internet.
I have a couple static IP's from my vendor and wanted to assign one of them for the ssh access.
I wanted to assign 199.92.247.154 to my router at 10.1.1.50
So, this is what I did.
ip nat inside source static tcp 10.1.1.50 22 199.92.247.154 22 extendable
I can ssh into my router fine from within the LAN, but not from a host outside the LAN.
I currently don't have any access-lists applied to the interfaces just to test to make sure I can connect. Once I can connect, I'll start putting access-lists on the interface to lock it down.

I got my issue resolved sort of. Ended up being that I needed to add some policy inspect commands.
