Is there any article/guide to configure modem for OOB access to Cisco ASA 5520?

Thanks in advance

Hi Riduwan,

OOB for AS5500 series is similar to have external modem connected to a router.

You can refer to the common configuration guide for AS5500 series modem from the following url:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/products/hw/univgate/ps509/products_module_installation_guide_chapter09186a0080167309.html#1020178

It's more or less uses similar concept for:

* Terminal/comm server:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/tech/tk801/tk36/technologies_configuration_example09186a008014f8e7.shtml

*Configuring a Modem on the AUX Port for EXEC Dialin Connectivity

I know that is exactly how it works. We have two customers with modems connected to the ASAS 5520 console port. I will double check the config of the ASA to see if there is anything special?

Thanks

Have you got it working?

I am connecting my modem to the AUX port actually.

Do you have the config file to make dial-in to modem possible?

Regards
