PIX activation

HI,

I am into R&sitching and want to step into PIX. I got the IOS of pix 500 series and when its boot its giving invalid activation key. Does the key differ for each feature set. From where can i obtain the key.

Hi DRNTEAM,

When you have brought the PIX box, Cisco will send the lenience key, which you have to put as "#activation key [key no 30 digit]", there-after that you have to put the serial no also, then you can access the test of Cisco PIX.
