I have recently purchased a Cisco ASA 5505. I have a dedicated server with a hosting company. They offer VPN access via PPTP not IPSEC. I was wondering if and how I could connect my ASA via PPTP to their network? Any tips or pointers would be appreciated.
I do not think you can configure ASA as PPTP client. You will have to configure windows workstation as PPTP client from where you will access the dedicated server. You will have to configure ASA as passthrough device for PPTP.Check the following link .
