(who can explain what is the backup? two D channels or one D channel?)
two PRIs have one pilot nubmer
we have one Cisco 3825 router with NM-2CE1T1-PRI (DSU/CSU integrated)
we have the following problem
1, everytime when we reboot the router, we have to call service provider to reset the two PRIs, otherwise, every 1 or 2 seconds, the interface S0/0:23 and S0/1:23 TEI shown down/up and totally no function, the remote ISDN router can not dialin
2, after we asked carrier to reset the PRIs, seems stable, but only can accpet inbound call and can not dialout
3, the cable between the router and the service provider box is not original cable(we should use T1 cable or E1 cable?, we only can find the cable number of CAB-E1-PRI, and no CAB-T1-PRI), the cable pinout is using E1 cable pinout
4, I did loopback test on the router self, working; did loopback test from ISDN switch side, working, so the cable should be no problem
5, the pilot number is same for inbound call and outbound call?
