Hola,

can you check if your ISDN interface is actually connected to an ISDN and not a regular phone line ? Can you post the configuration of your router ?

Re: Problem establishment call ISDN

I initially agreed that the first several messages look like the ISDN was not working. But these messages I believe indicate that it did work:

.Sep 8 12:03:31: ISDN BR0/1/0 EVENT: service_queue_from_physical_layer: Recvd L1 prim ISDN_PH_ACT_IND state is IF_ACTIVATING

.Sep 8 12:03:31: ISDN BR0/1/0 EVENT: isdn_sw_cstate: State = 4, Old State = 4

.Sep 8 12:03:31: ISDN BR0/1/0 EVENT: service_queue_from_physical_layer: Recvd L1 prim ISDN_MPH_EI2_IND state is IF_ACTIVE

.Sep 8 12:03:32: %ISDN-6-LAYER2UP: Layer 2 for Interface BR0/1/0, TEI 0 changed to up

.Sep 8 12:03:32: ISDN BR0/1/0 EVENT: process_rxstate: ces/callid 1/0x800D calltype 1 HOST_INFORMATION

.Sep 8 12:03:32: ISDN BR0/1/0 EVENT: process_rxstate: ces/callid 1/0x800D calltype 1 HOST_PROCEEDING

.Sep 8 12:03:33: ISDN BR0/1/0 EVENT: process_rxstate: ces/callid 1/0x800D calltype 1 HOST_CONNECT

.Sep 8 12:03:33: %LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface BRI0/1/0:1, changed state to up

.Sep 8 12:03:33: %ISDN-6-CONNECT: Interface BRI0/1/0:1 is now connected to 0943577560 N/A

.Sep 8 12:03:34: ISDN BR0/1/0 EVENT: process_rxstate: ces/callid 1/0x800D calltype 1 HOST_DISCONNECT

.Sep 8 12:03:34: %LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface BRI0/1/0:1, changed state to down

I believe that these indicate that the connection did establish - and in less than a second the other end terminated the call.

I believe that it would be helpful to have the output of debug ppp negotiation and of debug ppp authentication.

HTH

Rick
