I can see that the PVDM2-12DM requires the PDVM2-ADPTR module to physically fit in the onboard PVDM3 slots in a 3945 ISR. I need to know whether it will work with the VWIC2-2MFT-T1/E1 module or whether it only works with the five modules listed here:
I raised a case via the partner forums as I work for a Gold partner and have been told that this will work although I am not convinced. I suspect all the components will be recognised in the 3945 chassis but I am dubious at to whether the router will be able to handle modem calls on the PVDM2-12DM modules arriving on the Primary Rate ISDN circuit connected to the VWIC2-2MFT-T1/E1 module?
I have replied to the engineer who told me this will work with the same question but thought I'd reply on here as the 1st person to reply on here is telling me it won't work.
