RDP thu an ASA5510

We utilize an ASA5510 firewall and have an outside user who wants to gain acccess to one of our servers, which is running MS Windows 2003 server, using Microsoft's Remote Desktop (RDP). How do I go about setting this up to allow access. Use the following IP adresses in your answer.

outside IP of remote PC: 1.2.3.4 outside IP of firewall: 5.6.7.8

inside IP of firewall: 9.10.11.12

IP of server needing access: 13.14.15.16

Thank you for your time!

Re: RDP thu an ASA5510

So if you just want to use the external interface for the user to connect it would look something like this for your configs.

nat (inside,outside) tcp interface 3389 13.14.15.16 3389

access-list acl_outside_in permit tcp any 5.6.7.8 eq 3389

access-group acl_outside_in in interface outside

Re: RDP thu an ASA5510

Patrick...when I try and type in the nat (inside, outside) command it fails and points to the , between the words inside and outside as being a syntax error. Plus what address to I tell the remote user to use when he starts MS Remote Desktop from his PC?
