I have tried everything (limited as it is) to be able to make a connection to an XP Pro system behind out router, as best as I can tell I have setup the firewall & NAT to pass TCP port 3389 to the XP system but i just can't get a connection. I can connect no problem from our local network, just not from the internet.
the .226 address was not a typo, we have a block of address available and was trying to use the same address as the telnet access to our UNIX server. anyway change the mapping from .226 to .225 and still no access.
however I tried Leo's suggestion in the other post and that allowed me access however I am concerned that I just disabled my firewall.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
