symmetric packet loss

We have a branch router that dials in to the pri of our central hub the problem we are experiencing is that when i ping from one branch router to thr central hub i get a symmetric packet drop something like a reply followed by a time out i.e

i have checked the dialer configurations at both ends and everything is fine also we have other branches dialing in to the same centrl router but they seem to work perfect. Any solutions please

i feel you are getting 2 routes with the same admin distance for the destination.

Thats why you are getting symmetric packet loss.

just give a show ip route to the remote destination which you are pinging and find out whether you are getting 2 routes pointing towards that.

if yes just remove out the invalide route which will solve your probs here.
