Troubleshooting help for a direct T1 link

Hi,

I got a T1 link between a remote office and my main site. The T1 keeps going down on the remote site side(line down). The only way to bring it back up is to reboot the router.

Can someone review my link config

Remote site : Hardware is 1760 with WIC-1DSU-T1

interface Serial0/0

description T1 UL AT&T

ip address X.X.X.2 255.255.255.252

service-module t1 remote-loopback payload v54

end

Central site : 3725 with WIC-1DSU-T1-V2

interface Serial0/0

description PRS T1 AT&T

ip address X.X.X.1 255.255.255.252

end

Is there anything else a have to configure. The s0/0 interface of the 1760 crash one or twice a week since installed.

Re: Troubleshooting help for a direct T1 link

Hi

Is there any specific reason behind having this cli under your remote site serial config ?

"service-module t1 remote-loopback payload v54"

can you try to remove this line from the config and monitor ?

If you still face some probs with the link after removing the command can you post the output of show interface taken from both the sides with the logs taken out using show log command from these routers ..
