Unknown Pre-Shared Keys

Hi,

Does anyone know if there is a way to recover unknown pre-shared keys for site to site VPN tunnels on a PIX running 6.3(4)?

Thanks,

JE

You simply need to copy the config to a tftp server and they will appear in clear text.

Use the "write net :"filename" command.

Re: Unknown Pre-Shared Keys

I actually saw both of these options listed under the 7.x code, but wasn't sure about 6.3.

I don't have the boxes handy to test them, so I will have to wait and see.

Are you sure they work for PIX 6.3?

Thanks,

Jason

Jason

Saving the config to a tftp server definitely works for 6.3 code as i used to do it all the time.

The other command looks like a 7.x command to me so i can't say for sure.
