Problem: Windows 7 laptops connected wirelessly cannot communicate with primary DNS server.
Network Config: RV042 using 1 wan, WAP54G access points
The laptops are able to obtain IP from the RV042 but will not connect to DNS without first getting into the router and pinging the specific IP of the laptop. Laptops running Windows XP and all wired desktops have no problems connecting to the server. The laptops will intermittently lose connectivity to the DNS server. All ipv6 options have been disabled on the laptops.
Each WAP has a fixed ip.
The laptops are able to connect to a wireless network without any trouble to other (home) networks.
Any ideas or has someone seen this before?
