Hi Experts,
We bought Router cisco WRVS4400Nv2.
We faced with some problems. The main issue disturbs me a lot, is related with DHCP .
All clients of router's DHCP server are given Connection-specific DNS Suffix. It's value is WRVS4400Nv2.
I can change it by setting value in Setup->WAN->"Domain Name", but no way to set it to empty value. In case clear it to empty value i got WRVS4400Nv2 again.
I've tried reset to Factory Defaults and Upgrade to new firmware 2.0.0.8-K9, but issue remains.
I found out that i cannot turn it off in Windows settings.
Now i'm using workaround: adding to hosts line: 127.0.0.1 vm2.WRVS4400Nv2
But this is not a solution, every time changing this file.
Can you help me to solve this?
