Changing the .bin file on a 2811 Router

In order to change the .bin file on my 2811 router can I just delete c2800nm-advsecurityk9-mz.1243h.bin and replace it with c2800nm-advanterprisek9-mz.124-6.T8.bin?

Is that allI have to do to reload it?

This is the first one I have had to reload the IOS on.

Yes, you can delete it with:

erase flash:/c2800nm-advsecurityk9-mz.1243h.bin

You could also keep it there in case there is a problem with new image. You would copy the file to flash and then go into config mode and type:

boot system flash:c2800nm-advanterprisek9-mz.124-6.T8.bin

This will tell the router what image to boot (otherwise it will boot the first image in flash).
